Shidoshi Jordan's DVD presents the techniques of Japanese archery, Kyu-Jitsu.  This Martial Art is practically unknown in the West.  It is a classic art which teaches the formal traditions of Japan.  A unique DVD, which teaches the detail and ceremony and of archery.  There are eight stages which form a continuous cycle:  ASHIBUMI (taking a position), DOZUKURI (to balance), YUGAMAE (preparing the arc), UCHIOKOSHI (raise the bow), TSUMEAI (completing) NOBIAI (maximum aperture), HANARE (release the arrow), ZANSHIN (continuity).  Rituals come from the deepest of respect for the art.  The goal is to reach the target, but no necessarily hitting the bullseye.
