Written in 1941 Dai-Nihon Karate do Ama no Kata" Heavenly Kata and Photo Gallery. This is an almost lost kata created by both Gichin and Gigo Funakoshi. Although it is very basic kata this Heavenly kata it is an important kata in the history of Shotokan karate as it was created by the master and his son. The front of the poster was the Heavenly Kata and the back was several Kumite combinations. We have turned it into a book and added a photo gallery of over 100 rare photos some never seen before that have come from karate book collectors in Japan and as well from Hal Sharp who was a body guard for the Emperour of Japan at the end of WW2.
