Bas Rutten was part of a small group of martial artists who were there when mixed martial arts was born. Rutten has had an interesting life because of his love of the martial arts. He started out working at various careers from being a model, a bouncer to eventually becoming a prolific fighter. Rutten fought in Holland, Japan and the United States. On Volume 6 of this series, he demonstrates arm locks with a partner. Rutten shows each technique slowly, while explaining each detail, interspersing his comments with stories and background information and clips of his fights in the ring.
