Written in 1956 Karate Do Ichiro written by the master was just before he passed away April 26th 1957 at 88 years of age. This book is again mostly text but it is evident that the high kicking and spectacular side of karate was starting to show. Several of the photos demonstrate self defence techniques over tables etc. Plus using the Okinawan makiwara properly with its purpose is described in detail.
