Humanizing Makiwara conditioning is explored on this DVD with Florendo Vistacion, or Professor Vee, as he is fondly known as. Professor Vee took the idea of the makiwara to a new level by using a fellow student as the striking surface. The humanized makiwara not only strengthens and desensitizes various body parts, it incorporates movement, timing and resistance, which are all important components of martial arts training.
