Fumio Demura. a 9th Dan, wrote several martial arts books, including this one, on the subject of Shito-Ryu Karate, where he explores striking points, target areas, stances, hand, elbow and foot techniques, and blocking methods. Shito-Ryu Karate is one of four major styles of Japanese Karate, of which Shito-Ryu is an extremely fast style, but can still be artistic and powerful as shown by Fumio Demura in many clear and easy to follow photographs.
