Ken Osborne is one of the original pioneers in karate in American. His legacy goes back to 1961. At that time there was hardly any type of karate or martial arts training in America. After WWII a few Japanese Karate experts came to the USA for a few karate demonstrations. The first real karate organization was created in 1955 by Mr. Tsutomu Ohshima, a true karate master from Japan. Mr. Ohshima started the first American karate organization in California.
