This film was produced by the U. S. War Department and is basically and anti-Japanese propaganda film. The main focus of the movie is on the introduction of the history and the customs of the Japanese and their feelings towards the U.S. . The film spends a great deal of effort on dissecting ancient Japanese customs with the modern aspects of Japan. The result of which portrays the Japanese as somewhat odd people with some overtones of normality.
