Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose is not exactly a well known Master of karate, mainly because he passed away in 1984.  He was the grandson of Bushi Soken Matsumura and that alone makes him a VIP in Okianwan history.  But what he is really well known for, is his creation of Chito Ryu Karate, which came from both Shuri Te and Naha Te. This DVD was shot in the 1960's in Canada.  His student at the time, Masami Tsuruoka held the first tournament in North America which brought in competitors from all over the continent.  This including Dr. Chitose's number one American student - William Dometrich. You will see the master perform an amazing demonstration along with his student Yamamoto Sensei.
