Eisuke Akamine was a direct student of Taira Shinken's, as well as his senior student.  He was the second President of Ryu Kyu Kobudo Hozon Shinkokai until his passing.  This DVD, was shot in the 1960’s by Mr. Taiju Lee.  It features Akamine Sensei performing many of the katas which he learned from Taira Sensei directly.  Like his teacher Taira, Eisuke Akamine was also interested in preserving the ancient art of Kobudo for future generations.  There is also a short interview with Mr. Lee about his training with Akamine Sensei.  He also performs a demonstration of the forms he learned from Master Akamine.  25 minutes.
