The purpose of this book is to present the Art of Serrada Escrima as the authors' understood it and as they interpret it. Grandmaster Cables gave them the "key". This volume is the first step in taking that "key" and carry Serrada Escrima into the next millennium. The highest compliment one can pay a teacher is to remember the knowledge he has imparted in the student and the pay back is for the student to take the "seed" and plant the "tree" and find his or her own truth. There is an old saying that goes like this, "When we are born, it is God's gift to us. What we do with that life is our gift back to God."
