Wado’s Otsuka features the founder of Wado Ryu Karate, Hironori Otsuka.  Otsuka is shown performing all of the katas, as well as demonstrating a wide variety of ippon kumite techniques.  You will see Otsuka performing various ju jitsu techniques, which he incorporated into his style of Karate.  The first part of this DVD was shot in California in the 1950;s. Also, you will see Otsuka demonstrating all of his sword and knife defenses which he became famous for.
